Windows 10 Redstone Build 14905 ISO
Today, 17th August, Microsoft is releasing a new build for Windows Insiders. Its new number is 14905, and is available only on Fast Ring for both PC and Mobile.
This new build doesn’t bring anything exciting. Despite that, the improvements made are always welcome. As reported by Dona S., header of Windows Insider program, the Windows team is still focus on code re-factoring and preparing the Core structure to start working on new festures.
It’s always worth reforcing, I think, that maybe it’s better you to think twice before using this build as daily work operating system. As I mentioned before, all this process of working on a low level like Core features, let’s say, the “heart” of all Windows platform, brings some more painful bugs to deal with.
You can read the list of improvements and known issues on Windows blogs or Feedback Hub
As always, I want to share some ISO’s if you wish to perform a clean install.
As I can’t upload every ISO for every edition/language/architecture, I always like to provide sources to ESD. ESD it’s a compressed file that Microsoft distributes for Windows Update. It’s possible to create the common ISO files by decrypt, uncompress windows installation files, and create the install.wim from install.esd. There is a tool for that, and you can know more about it here.
The links below are direct links for ESD on Microsoft servers. Using some tools, you can catch this URLs when you are downloading the new build through Windows Update. Although, they aren’t “static”. I mean, they are temporary, and all of sudden can stop working. Usually they still alive for 24-48 hours, I think.
You can download 20 ESDs from Wzor cloud. It has all editions (Single language, Core [Home], Professional, Enterprise, Education) for x86 and x64, and are available in Russian or English. Check it out
